Once you park at the top of the hill (a jeep, cart, or e-bike can get up there), the trail is marked with a small ocean buoy hung over a tree branch to the left when entering the trailhead parking area. The trail starts through some grass and then quickly descends 550 vertical feet along the hillside. Definitely wear sneakers and bring water! Once you arrive at the mangrove forest (look for the jueyes crabs), the trail is marked with sea trash to lead you to the beach. It is absolutely beautiful and remote. The only bummer is that there can be plastic and fishing debris — bring a bag to collect some to dispose of. There isn't much shade and the waves can be very big. Overall a fun adventure!
