Stunning Culebrita views. E-Bike or 4x4 only.
That's the whole pin — and it's the whole point. Zoni is Culebra's east end: about 4 miles out from town, looking across the water at Culebrita, with none of Flamenco's kioskos or crowds. Beaches like Zoni are exactly why people rent wheels here — reachable, but not walkable.
The Wild East End
Zoni's neighbors on the map keep the same energy:
Playa Brava
Playa Brava — "Brave Beach" lives up to its name. Wild, rugged, and usually empty — no crowds, no chairs, no services, just raw Atlantic surf crashing into golden sand. Hike in through the hills and you'll feel like you discovered it yourself. 🌊🥾 Not for swimming (strong currents), but epic for photos and solitude. 🚲 E-bikes can make it — advanced riders only, steep & bumpy trail.
Playa Larga
Total solitude. No facilities, no signal. Bring everything.
Local Detail: The $20 Pizza Zone
There are no kioskos out here — but Friday through Sunday evenings, Todo Culebra delivers La Jibara pizza island-wide in two batches (around 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, 2-pizza minimum), and Zoni sits in the $20 far-end delivery zone. Sunset at Zoni with a hot pizza is a very Culebra move.
Getting There by E-Bike
The pin says it: e-bike or 4x4 only. It's about 4 miles from town — a fat-tire e-bike handles the hills and the last stretch of rough road, and there's nothing to buy once you're out there, so pack water and snacks.
Zoni is the ride that makes the rental worth it. $30 for 6 hours — helmet, lock and phone mount included.
